The history of Lithuanian statehood dates back more than a century. In 1918 February 16, the idea of Lithuania's freedom was restored. In 1949 February 16, the Lithuanian Freedom Fighting Movement once again testified to the freedom and independence of Lithuania. Today, we are all witnesses, followers and, most importantly, defenders of that idea of Freedom. It is our duty and responsibility.
